
Ensuring smooth and hassle-free delivery of public services has been one of the avowed objectives of the State Government led by Dr. Himanta Biswa
Sarma. It is precisely why the Government has initiated a bouquet of e-governance initiatives, of which the Assam Right to Public Services (ARTPS) portal is one.
Established under the Assam Public Service Right (Amendment) Act, 2019, the ARTPS portal was launched by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the presence of the Chief Minister on October 7, 2021. It ensures the delivery of notified public services to the people of Assam within the stipulated time frame.
Reiterating the Government’s commitment of ‘Citizen First’, the portal is a step towards bringing services closer to the people. Through the ARTPS portal, citizens can now get notified about various public services, apply online and track the status of their application at their will.
