After the successful implementation of the first phase of Mission Basundhara, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma launched Mission Basundhara 2.0 at a function held at Srimanta Sankardev International Hall on November 14.
The application under the Mission would be accepted till January 10, 2023.
Under Mission Basundhara 2.0, the service aims to protect land rights of indigenous landless families by providing them land pattas for agriculture and housing slums based on the existing land policy of the Government of Assam.
The Chief Minister is hopeful that the second phase of the programme would be as successful as the first phase. The State Government has already sanctioned ₹ 329.19 crore for the campaign.
